Half Mast Every Day
First off, I'm all for remembering the fallen heroes of our society. But in the last 2 weeks flags have flown at half mast 3 times in the last 2 weeks. That's 21% of the time. One out of every five days the flags are flying at half mast. When I was a child when the flags were flying at half staff there was a reason. It was a holiday. Or a remembrance. Or a tragedy. Leinenkugel's 1888 Bock
Leinenkugel's has a new Spring Seasonal, and it is the 1888 Bock. It is a bock style beer, shocking, I know what with its name including "bock". I saw it at the store and thought I would give it a shot, since Leinenkugel's rarely is a bad choice. It's a good beer, it has a nice malty taste, with some significant bitterness.
